Erin Dunyon

Because I am the Logistics Director for Girls Lobby, I served on our team as team leader. I was the main point of contact between our group and the organization, and helped make sure that our deliverables were in line with what Girls Lobby needs.

I found the whole experience to be very enjoyable! It was great to see my UVU world and my Girls Lobby world collide. I am so thankful for the help of my other group members, the Girls Lobby 2021 program will be fantastic, thanks to them!

Team Editor

Erin Cousins

As the team editor, my responsibilities include checking over the writing we each do as part of one singular assignment in order to ensure that despite all having our own writing styles, we sound as coherent and as cogent as possible. I also volunteered to provide support to anyone who found themselves unable to perform their own role due to unexpected circumstances. I learned a lot about the importance of rhetoric and framing your intent to suit your audience as the team editor. It was extremely rewarding to be able to use my editing skills to help an organization that, especially in an election year, I feel is doing vital work to enhance and improve our community.

Team Secretary

As the team secretary, my role was to take notes of what we discussed during our weekly meetings and share that with anyone who missed a meeting. Fortunately, each week all four of us regularly attended.

Team Manager

As Team Manager, I helped to ensure that the assignments were submitted on-time in Canvas. During our project's process, I took on working directly with the Communication's director and relaying information to my team. I also handled the design of this portfolio and managed everyone's contributions.
