THE MISSION

Girl's Lobby is an Utah-based non-profit focused on empowering high-school girls. They believe that Girls are powerful and aim to help them take their power and give back by lobbying their state legislature.

HOW IT IS DONE

Each year, Girls Lobby participants are grouped into cohorts, who then meet weekly to discuss issues, track policy, and learn about governmental procedures. All of the hard work of the girls culminates in writing Opinion Editorials, testifying in public hearings, and contacting legislators and government officials to make their voices heard.

Of Our Efforts They Say:

"Working with everyone in the group was fantastic"

I am so grateful for the work that the recruiting team put in! They were very organized and Erin was a great liaison with Girls Lobby. The groundwork they completed was very helpful. I am especially grateful they put together some physical recruiting materials for us, which I have been able to share with others to help recruiting efforts. They worked well with our team of directors on collaborating and creating high-quality material. I do wish that they would have been in contact with me more often on what they were doing; this would have helped me better understand the timeline of work. Other than that, I am very glad with what they have done for Girls Lobby. -Michaela Bevan, Executive Director

"Girls Lobby is an awesome non-profit run by college students. Working with everyone in the group was fantastic. They were motivated, their deliverables were timely, high quality and on-brand. Everyone was willing to work hard to understand the organization and present it in the best way possible. They were so helpful and assisted us in getting ready for registration, which is a huge task.  As the Communications Director I was thrilled to work with them."  -Brooke Hansen Lund, Communications Director
